SHEPPEY FM ROADSHOWS- OUT AND ABOUT IN THE COMMUNITY
Our roadshow team are available for any event big or small, be it a carnival, school fete, memorial service or a small stall outside a shop, whatever you need we can usually cater for you. Our team provide a fun and professional service, playing the music that you require from our extensive database, talking to and interacting with the public and just doing what we do best, entertaining. We have all relevant licenses, public liability insurance, fully PAT tested equipment and all our team are DBS checked, so you can be sure we are risk free too.

2nd May 2026- Men-Talk UK Fundraiser Sheerness
Huge congratulations to Roland and super star Ryan on a fantastic event raising funds for men’s mental health. There was a BBQ, Cake stalls, a 100 Mile Bike challenge by Ryan, Live Music and more! Proud to support and be a part of such a wonderful day.

Our last Roadshow of the year at Nore Estuary Academy’s Christmas Fete event. Big congratulations to the PTA and parents that made it a very special day for the children. We loved it and even got to hang out with The Grinch! We look forward to supporting your community events next year.

On Sunday 21st, our roadshow team were down at EKCSS for the Baton of Hope that has travelled across Kent and Medway to raise awareness for suicide awareness. This was an honour and a privilge as such a fantastic cause, suicide affects so many people and its very close to the heart for many at Sheppey FM,
13th and 14th September 2025 – Queenborough Classic Ships
27th July 2025 – Seashells Fundraiser at Co-Op Club Sheerness.
On Sunday 27th July Neal M Williams with the help of lots of other Sheppey FM volunteers put on a fundraiser event for Seashells Children & Families Centre. Special thanks to Councillor Maxwell Harrison for coming along with the deputy leader of KCC and pledging some money and to Councillor Elliott Jayes for coming along to support the event and bringing his family all spending money and enjoying the festivities. A thank you to Sheerness CO-OP Sports And Social Club for allowing us to use your venue and a huge thanks to everyone that came along and supported the event. We had entertainment from Zoe, Steve, Jack, Luke and Sasha doing Boogie Babes and dressing up, Anna with her Nerf War Games, Mr and Mrs Babz with their Reggae Picnic, Wayne with his 90s Dance, Lee with his Karaoke and also non Sheppey FM guys that gave their time to support like LA Live Percussion with his Bongos, DJ SSB and Ciarran with their Kisstory Set and The Bear with some fantastic catering. Plus everyone that came with inflatables, face painting and other stalls. It was great fun but we have also learned a lot so the next one will be even better. We are proud to say we raised over £1700 for Seashells, once again thank you all

27th October 2024 – Bayview Garden Centre Halloween Fun Day
The spooky Roadshow crew were out at the weekend causing havoc at the Bayveiw Garden Centre in Leysdown supporting them at their Halloween Spooktacular! Playing creepy tunes for all the guys and ghooouls! Our team consisted of Pirate Captain Zoe, Bloody Bride Charlie , Uncle Screamin’ Steve , Melody Butterfly and Semi-Serious Sash. A great time was had there was ample to do ending in a massive firework display !
2nd June 2024 – SEVC Classic Car Show
27th May 2024 – Barton’s Point Fun Day
Our team had the best day at Barton’s Point Coastal Park, there were classic cars, fun races and sports activities, rides on the minature railway, the Sheppey Pirates firing their cannons and even some magic from Professor Dumbledore all the way from Hogwarts! We as always enjoyed supplying the music and PA for the day.

30th April 2024 – St George’s Day Event SBC
Our team had a great day at Beachfields Park, taking part in the Sheerness Town Council St George’s Day Event. The town was heaving with happy attendees and filled with laughter, entertainment, charity stalls, fun games, even donkeys! We supplied the sound system for the day, emergency meet up point, music for the dance troups, baton twirling and the song signers. The Town Council were on form and put on a spectacular event, the weather was stunning too.
4th April 2024 – Kent Masters House Launch Day
28th March 2024- Aspire School Easter Event
Our roadshow team proudly attended the Easter Event put on by Aspire School in Sittingbourne. The school is a fantastic SEN primary provision, the staff and children were lovely and very engaging. Zoe, Melody and Ash enjoyed playing with the visiting ponies whilst it was quiet.
9th December 2023 – Sheerness Town Team Christmas Event
29th October 2023 – Shurland Halloween Fayre
Our team including young mascot Melody and Youth Presenter Luke were up at Shurland Dale Holiday Park today having a fantastic time with stalls and rides whilst providing the music and PA for the event. Great day all round for the team and big thanks to our newest member on the roadshow team young Luke who done a fantastic job. we all enjoyed the day even if the weather was tempramental. Thanks to Shrland Dale for being so welcoming and of course for inviting us along.
17th October 2021 – Red October Fun Day
The Red Lion in Blue Town hosted a fun day and Red October 10k run in aid of many charities including cats protection. The Sheppey FM Roadshow team were invited along to keep up the morale of the runners and play some great music for all in attendance. It was fantastic fun and a success all round.
11 & 12th September 2021 – Classic Ships Festival
Queenborough Harbour Trust hosted their annual Classic Ships Festival and we had the privilege of having our roadshow out on the jetty, like a roadshow on the sea, we got to play some great sea shanty music, along with any other requests and meanwhile look at some amazing boats, we even got to see the brand new RNLI lifeboat on her first tour around the harbour. We look forward to more of the same next year.
28th August 2021 – Eastchurch Marathon
Firefighters, in aid of the fire service, walked a distance of 13 miles in full fire gear in very hot weather too, and also completed 13 miles on a rowing machine in the carpark at Morrison’s Neats Court, Queenborough. The Sheppey FM roadshow team were in attendance to cheer them on and to draw in the crowd, a great day with lots of money raised for a great cause.
14th August 2021 – Sunset Seaside Stroll
Every year for the Sunset Seaside Stroll, as the beach behind the studio is the halfway point, we have volunteers on the promenade with a drinks stand to refresh the strollers and our roadshow team on the roof facing the beach, entertaining the strollers as they come past and offering them words of encouragement and support. It’s a fantastic event that always raises a lot for Cancer Research UK.
14th August 2021 – Sheerness Green Carnival Parade
For this years carnival, the floats and cars were banned and instead Chris Reed eith Big Fish Arts, led an environmentally friendly carnival parade with hand made lanterns and decorations. there were an eclectic range of stalls and entertainment in the town. Sheppey FM were there with our roadshow, taking part, playing music, giving stickers to the children and even working with the Song Signing choir. A fabulous day that we all loved being a part of.
4th July 2021 – Sheppey Matters Litter Pick
Sheppey Matters hosted a litter pick at Barton’s Point Coastal Park, with music and BBQ for participants, it was a very windy day and the rain kept on threatening our progress, nonetheless the litter pick was a success and the coastal park was left completely litter free. Sheppey FM Roadshow provided the music and PA for the event and even took part in the pick themselves.
